Firewood Quantities – Qualities Explained​

Hardwood – is defined as any tree that sheds its leaves.

​

Softwood – is defined as a tree with needles.

​

Camp wood – Mix of softwood and low BTU hardwoods.

​

Mixed Hardwood – A mix of high BTU hardwood species.

​

Select Hardwood – Single species of hardwood only.

​

Prime – Rare and high desired hardwood species
(example: maple, cherry)

​

Bark Free – Firewood processed to remove the bark.
Exceptionally clean.
